The operation, which began at 8.30am, focused on distributing aid to longhouses and public facilities that had been inaccessible due to impassable land routes caused by recent flooding.

In the Kelebu/Kakus area, food aid was delivered to 209 residents across eight longhouses.

Meanwhile, in the Penyarai area, 417 residents received assistance, including those from eight longhouses, students and staff of SK Nanga Penyarai, as well as personnel at the Kakus Health Clinic.

The delivery was conducted using four boats via river routes, operated respectively by the Tatau Sebauh District Education Office, the Malaysian Civil Defence Force, the Royal Malaysia Police, and the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department.

A total of 25 personnel from various agencies were involved in the integrated operation.
