Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor (formerly known as Prince Andrew) is finally getting the boot from Royal Lodge, and he’s expected to relocate from the 30-room mansion to a “shoebox-sized” home called Marsh Farm early on in the new year. However! While it was previouly reported that Andrew had been given a January 31 deadline to vacate Royal Lodge, it seems the moving process may be delayed. The reason: Andrew’s “hoarding” problem.

According to Rob Shuter’s #Shuterscoop, Andrew’s exit is expected to drag on for months because of all the stuff he’s accumulated at the Windsor property over the past 20+ years. “He’s a natural hoarder,” a source explained. “Rooms are packed with papers, photographs, and personal collections. He wasn’t ready to accept help sorting through it.”

They added, “With the hoarding and ownership issues, it’s going to take months.”

This definitely isn’t the first we’re hearing about Andrew’s hoarding tendencies. As a Daily Mail insider revealed last month, “The Amazon deliveries that go up to Royal Lodge are unbelievable. There are rooms full of boxes that haven’t even been opened. It will take weeks, if not months, to shift all their shit out.”

There’s also reportedly drama with the process of moving Andrew’s extensive teddy bear collection, with a source recently telling the National Examiner, “The way [Andrew’s] carrying on about having to move them and how each bear needs to be handled and arranged is completely cuckoo. He’s so paranoid that someone is going to try and steal them that he refuses to let anyone touch them unless he trusts them completely.”

What’s more: “He’s convinced the move out of Royal Lodge is going to be hard on them because, as he says, it’s their home, too.”
