Taylor Swift's Posture-Correcting Bra is on Early Sale for Black Friday

Forme Power Bra

· Cosmopolitan

Earlier this year, I spotted something interesting in a photo of Taylor Swift rehearsing for the Eras Tour. To the naked, untrained eye, it might seem like she was wearing a regular ol' tank—but Blondie was actually sporting the Forme Power Bra, a posture-training top designed by an orthopedic surgeon to improve your spinal alignment. Considering the fact that TayTay would run on the treadmill while singing her entire setlist, which is approximately a half-marathon, her training gear has to be legit.

So naturally, I had to order one and test it out. The TL;DR after months of wearing it: I found that the Power Bra actually provided genuine relief from the strain that my shrimpy, slouchy posture puts on my poor back. It was great for working out, gently pulled back my scoliosis-afflicted shoulders all day, and even provided a lil lift when worn under clothes.

Beauty editor Beth Gillette also tested the Power Bra out, and raved about how quickly it worked: "I love how good it looks. It's very comfortable, shockingly, considering I have horrendous posture, according to my chiropractor. It pulls back my shoulders a bit without pinching anything and doesn't feel unnatural, either."

Sounds good, right? The one catch—it's normally $188, which is a little outside of my budget for a single top. But not right now, because Forme is currently running a very lowkey, under-the-radar pre-Black Friday sale! Just use the code NOV15 for 15% off your purchase, which brings the cost of Taylor's bra to $159. They rarely run sales like this, so it's worth snagging while the sale lasts.

The Power Bra comes in six different colors (Jade, Obsidian, Stone, Rosé, Ecru, Sage, and Cloud+) and is available in size XS-3XL. It's designed to be a snug fit, so if you're having issues putting it on, the brand recommends manually stretching out the armholes of the sports bra for a little more give.

Oh, and it also counts as a qualified medical expense so you can spend your pre-tax HSA money on it, if you have one!

The discount code works across their entire site, too, so you can stock up on their other offerings like their posture-correcting T-shirts, their lower back-supporting biker shorts, and their Arch Booster socks made with biofeedback technology. I personally will be snagging some of their Sculp+ Leggings (they have a multi-panel waistband that gently compresses your muscles to engage them throughout the day) and wearing them while performing my rendition of "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" for my parents' dog over Thanksgiving. Happy shopping!!
