One of the strongest couples, though, was clean energy policy consultant Taylor and quantum physicist Garrett, who bonded over their love of science amid witty banter. From the pods to playing real-life partners, Taylor and Garrett's connection only grew stronger. But given all the stuff that's gone down this season, it's fair to wonder where their relationship is headed—even if it seems like there's no trouble in paradise. We technically won't find out till the finale airs on October 30, but it seems hopeful since Taylor and Garrett made it to the altar. They got married on the 13th of the month, which seemed like a good omen since each of their parents' wedding dates also landed on the 13th.

Taylor opened up about her feelings for her fiancé ahead of the ceremony, saying, “I love everything about Garrett. He’s thoughtful and generous and kind. I dream of him playing with our kids. ... I see us being grandparents together. I see a forever future. I’m just so excited and I’m so happy.”

Garrett said “I absolutely do” at the altar before Taylor followed suit and said yes. When asked if love was blind after the wedding, the couple was quick to respond, “Love is absolutely blind.”

What happened before the wedding?

Before the pair said “I do,” they faced a slight issue involving Garrett's ex. He had told Taylor that an ex-girlfriend of his reached out to him through Instagram DMs, but that he didn't respond and liked the message because he didn't know how to handle the situation. “She isn’t anything to me anymore,” he told his fiancée before a party with the rest of the show's cast. Taylor, who had previously been cheated on in a past relationship, was upset that he chose to tell her before they met up with their castmates.

During the party, Garrett chatted with Tyler and Ashley and revealed that he did respond to his ex, telling her he was engaged and wishing her well. Taylor was upset that he purposely left out that detail when telling her, to which Garrett said, “The point is I should’ve told you. I should’ve told you the facts of the situation.”

The situation led Taylor to have doubts about their connection before meeting up with her family in San Diego. “I told you I need to be 200% for you to meet my family. Now I’m not 200%. If we don’t go see my parents tomorrow, I’m not doing any of this,” she said at the time, before seeing the message he sent to his ex. While Taylor revealed she was still “really hurt,” she acknowledged that Garrett's DM wasn't as bad as she thought.
