Zoë Kravitz Looks Like Sheer Perfection on the 2026 Met Gala Red Carpet

We’re so back. The 2026 Met Gala is kicking off, and one of the earliest red carpet arrivals? Zoë Kravitz, who is on the Host Committee this year! The actor/director arrived on the red carpet wearing a sheer, black lace dress with voluminous hips by Saint Laurent—perfect for the “Fashion Is Art” dress code.

Zoë’s vibe tonight is undeniably cool girl, a term often associated with her that she’s reluctant to fully embrace. “I’m very honored that that word is associated with me often, but the other day I came out of the bathroom and my fly was down, which happens maybe 75 percent of the time,” she told W Magazine last year. “Those are the moments when I think it’s funny that people think I’m cool.”

Zoë also told Harper’s Bazaar that “It’s a nice compliment. I feel like it’s kind of just about being laid back and staying true to [yourself]. What I think is cool when somebody is confident and unapologetically who they are. I think it’s being true to who you are and reflecting that in your style and your beauty choices.”

This year’s Met Gala is being co-chaired by Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour; while Zoë and Anthony Vaccarello are co-chairing the Host Committee, which also includes the likes of Sabrina Carpenter, Teyana Taylor, and LISA—to name a few!
