Prince Harry’s Friends Are Allegedly Surprised He Still Wants an Apology From the Royals
· CosmopolitanPrince Harry might be back in England, but apparently he’s no closer to mending fences with the royal family. New source intel claims that the Duke of Sussex still “expects an apology” from his family, and is “spitting blood” at some members (no specific names were named, ahem).
“Friends who caught up with Harry were expecting to hear noises of contrition and humility,” an insider tells the Daily Mail. “Instead, there will be no imminent mea culpa from Harry by the sounds of things. Far from it, in fact. He is still in that Oprah mindset. They were agog to hear he still feels angry with members of the Royal Family, is still frustrated by the ‘men in grey suits’ who surround his father, and still expects an apology.”
The source added that “Friends who have spoken to him since he returned to the UK were surprised to discover that the record has not changed one bit since 2020 and Megxit. It’s shocking and quite sad. He certainly won’t be issuing a public apology for his actions and he’s whipped himself up all over again and Diana’s legacy is a factor in this.”
Harry and Meghan have pretty much been minding their own business since returning to England, and are said to be living as private citizens. Meaning: the royals have nothing to do with their housing or security. The couple are also keeping the location of their new home under wraps, but are said to be retaining their place in Montecito and spending holidays there (as well as in Portugal). It’s still up in the air exactly how long they plan to live in England, but either way: doesn’t look like a royal reunion is on the agenda.
