The first episode of Taylor Swift's docuseries The End of an Era took us behind the scenes of the her Wembley Stadium tour dates in August 2024—where she was joined on stage by Ed Sheeran as a massive surprise for fans. And we even got to see Ed and Taylor rehearse—but not before the old friends spent some time catching up.

Before they started working on music, Ed asked Taylor how she was spending her upcoming break from tour, and she said she wanted to go somewhere no one could find her due to feeling "hunted."

"I just need to do this show, remember the joy of it, because I'm a little bit just like...you know," she said candidly. "I get two months off after this, which I need, I need more than I've ever needed. You've seen my schedule. I'm just going to go somewhere no one can find me. I just don't want to be tracked like an animal. I've felt very hunted lately."

Taylor had a few well-deserved months off between the last night of her London show and The Eras Tour heading to the United States and Canada. And speaking of tours, if you're wondering whether or not Miss Swift could surprise us all with some The Life of a Showgirl dates, chances are probably not.

When asked on BBC Radio 1 if she had the “itch” to do something soon, she said, "No. I’m going to be honest with you, I’m so tired, like, when I think about doing it again. I want to do it really well, again."

Fair! Enough!
