Tyla Risks a Wardrobe Malfunction With Her Ultra-Low-Rise VMAs Look

Tyla is presenting at the 2026 VMAs tonight, and arrived on the red carpet wearing a snakeskin-printed bra and matching knee-length skirt with the lowest possible rise. Like, risking-wardrobe-malfunction-levels of low. And obviously it worked, she looked amazing, I’ll be copying everything about this at the next wedding I’m invited to (sorry to the bride), etc.

Tyla recently chatted about her personal style with Elle, saying “The vibe for A*Pop is all neon colors, feathers, body paint, and colorful makeup, so my style right now reflects that.” She added that clothes have “always been part of who I am—growing up in South Africa, style and music were never separate; you dressed for the feeling.”

She also told hypebae that she’s obsessed with crop tops and tanks at the moment, so clearly she was channelling that energy this evening!
