Realme 16 Pro series' India launch date announced

A few days ago, Realme announced it would unveil the Realme 16 Pro series on January 6, 2026. Today, the company announced it will launch the lineup in India on the same day at 12 PM IST.

The Realme 16 Pro series includes two smartphones: the Realme 16 Pro and the Realme 16 Pro+. While Realme hasn't detailed the spec sheets of these phones, it has revealed the design of the Pro+ model.

The Realme 16 Pro+ will come in four colorways - Master Gold, Master Grey, Camellia Pink, and Orchid Purple. The first two are designed in partnership with Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa, while the other two are India-exclusive versions inspired by Indian festive flowers.

The Realme 16 Pro+ will be powered by a Snapdragon chip and pack a battery with a capacity of more than 6,500 mAh. The smartphone will boot Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0 and come with the promise of three years of Android OS upgrades and four years of security updates. It will also feature LumaColor IMAGE tech, co-developed by Realme with TUV Rheinland. You can read more about it here.
