iPhone X joins Apple's obsolete product list

Apple's 10th anniversary iPhone, the iPhone X, has finally been added to the company's obsolete products list, nearly nine years after its launch. The company has also added the 2018 15-inch MacBook Pro to the list.

Once a product is added to Apple's obsolete products list, it is no longer eligible for hardware service, and repair centers will no longer be able to obtain replacement parts.

Products are usually added to the obsolete list more than 7 years after Apple stops its sale. However, Mac products may still be eligible for battery service for up to 10 years from the date they were last sold, provided the required parts are available.

The iPhone X received its final software update with iOS 16.7.16, while the 2018 15-inch MacBook Pro's software support ended with macOS 15.7.7. You can check out Apple’s full list of obsolete devices here.
