Huawei MatePad 11.5 (2026) goes official
by Siddharth · GSMArena.comHuawei announced a bunch of new products in China yesterday, including the nova 15 series and the Watch 5 10th Anniversary edition. The brand also unveiled the MatePad 11.5 (2026) model during the launch.
The Huawei MatePad 11.5 (2026) is largely similar to the 2025 model that debuted in July this year, but offers a different processor and minor improvements.
It sports an 11.5-inch IPS LCD display that offers a 2456x1600-pixel resolution, up to 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 600 nits. The tablet is also available in a Soft Light Edition that offers an anti-glare coating.
The Soft Light variant is equipped with the Kirin T82 SoC, whereas the regular option uses a Kirin T82B chipset. The tablet runs HarmonyOS 5.1, which offers several AI features and Huawei’s AI Health Learning 2 system.
Huawei has included a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP sensor at the front for selfies and video calling.
The tablet packs a 10,100mAh battery that supports 40W fast charging. Other specs include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and quad speakers.
The MatePad 11.5 (2026) is available in Deep Space Gray, Frost Silver, Feather Sand Purple, and Island Blue color options. Pre-orders for the tablet are now open in China via the Huawei Vmall store and other online sellers. The official sale starts on December 25.
The tablet has a starting price of CNY 1,799 ($255) for the standard 8GB/128GB Wi-Fi option. Meanwhile, the Soft Light Edition is available in an 8GB/128GB variant priced at CNY 2,099 ($295), an 8GB/256GB option that costs CNY 2,299 ($325), and a 12GB/256GB model with a price tag of CNY 2,799 ($395).
