Meanwhile, several schools in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, also received threatening emails, prompting the evacuation of students and a tightening of security across the affected campuses, officials said.

Earlier Bomb Threat

This is not the first time that bomb threat emails have been sent to private schools. In January 2025, more than 400 schools across the national capital received similar threat messages, triggering widespread panic. However, all those threats were later found to be hoaxes.

During the investigation into the January 2025 incident, Delhi Police apprehended a juvenile responsible for sending the threatening emails. The accused, a public school student, was identified following a detailed technical probe carried out by the Cyber Cell of the South District police.

A laptop and two mobile phones were recovered from the accused and subjected to forensic examination. Digital evidence confirmed his involvement in sending bomb threat emails to multiple schools in Delhi, police said.

According to officials, the accused had used anonymous and encrypted email services to conceal his identity, but was eventually traced and apprehended using advanced technical methods.
