Delhi weather update: Maximum temperature settles at 34.5°C as IMD predicts cloudy skies for Friday
Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 34.5 degrees Celsius, with the weather department predicting generally cloudy skies and pleasant conditions for Friday.
by Nitin Kumar · Zee NewsThe temperature of Delhi witnessed a high of 34.5 degrees Celsius on Thursday, which was slightly higher than the normal whereas the Air Quality Index (AQI) measured by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) came out to be 107. IMD has predicted partly cloudy weather on Friday as weather conditions remain comfortable in the capital.

Breakdown of station-wise temperatures
There were minor differences in temperatures at various monitoring stations while maintaining average seasonal conditions.
Maximum temperatures: Maximum temperatures measured 32.5°C at Palam while Lodhi Road, Ridge and Ayanagar all measured around 34°C.
Minimum temperatures: Minimum temperatures touched a cool 25.2°C in the morning city wide whereas ridge recorded minimum temperature as 20.6°C and Palam as 23°C.
Relative humidity: The relative humidity was maintained at 71 percent in the early evening hours.
Status of Air Quality Index (AQI)
Air quality remained stable with acceptable environmental conditions throughout the evening hours.
Current AQI: Air quality remained 107 in the capital as per data of CPCB.
Scale of AQI: According to the CPCB scale, the range of AQI between 101 and 200 is 'moderate.'
