Dell’s latest XPS 13 is $599.99 at Best Buy. That’s $200 off its $800 regular price and the lowest price yet on this laptop.

This is the Sky model with Intel’s Core 5 320, 8GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. Dell’s own store charges $699.99 for its base Core 5 model, and that one has half the storage.

Price: $599.99 (was $800)
Where to buy: Best Buy ($599.99), Amazon ($859.99)

What you get

The 13.4-inch touchscreen runs at 2560 x 1600 with a 30-120Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of brightness. The Core 5 320 is a six-core chip that boosts to 4.6GHz, paired with 8GB of LPDDR5x memory.

The body is CNC aluminum, half an inch thick and 2.2 pounds. You get Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, a 52Whr battery, quad speakers, a 1080p IR webcam and two USB-C ports. There’s no card reader.

Why it’s a good deal

An XPS for $599.99 is rare. This config usually sells for $800, and the closest match on Amazon is $859.99 right now, so Best Buy saves you $260.

You also get double the storage of Dell’s $699.99 base model for $100 less.

Who should buy it

It’s a great laptop for students, travelers and anyone who wants a light Windows machine for email, browsing, docs and streaming. If you were eyeing a MacBook Neo but want Windows and a touchscreen, this is the one.

Skip it if you edit video or keep dozens of tabs open all day. The 8GB of RAM is the limit here; Best Buy’s 16GB Core Ultra 7 version is $999.99.

At $599.99, the XPS 13 costs less than most no-name ultrabooks. Grab it before Black Friday pricing changes.
