A crystal keepsake and a metal nameplate can carry the same design, but they don’t call for the same laser. xTool’s upcoming sale puts the F2 Ultra UV and F2 Ultra Single at the same $3,799 standalone price.

Both US offers are listed for the November 2 through December 4, 2026 campaign. Each is $500 below its $4,299 MSRP, or about 11.6% off. The sale begins November 2; the announced prices aren’t current checkout offers.

Price: F2 Ultra UV standalone $3,799; F2 Ultra Single/MOPA-only standalone $3,799. Announced US November 2–December 4 offers; each MSRP $4,299.

UV for glass and fine-detail work

Price: F2 Ultra UV standalone $3,799 in the announced US November 2–December 4 campaign; MSRP $4,299.

The F2 Ultra UV uses a 5W ultraviolet laser. xTool positions it for fine engraving, glass work and 3D inner engraving in suitable crystal.

Inner engraving and surface engraving use different lenses. xTool lists an Inner Engraving Pack with the inner-engraving lens, riser and calibration materials, so confirm the required pack and supported crystal are included in your chosen setup. K5 and K9 crystal are among the materials xTool lists; that isn’t blanket compatibility with every glass object. The UV model’s dual cameras help position the design.

Crystal keepsakes, from display pieces to keychains

xTool’s UV material examples show a chess-piece display, a photo ornament, a small keychain and a seasonal tree. The glow comes from separate lighting accessories, not colored engraving.

A photo keepsake takes a different shape in this heart-shaped crystal ornament shown by xTool.

A small crystal keychain turns a bird design into a pocket-sized keepsake. Its green glow comes from the lighting accessory, not colored engraving.

An illuminated tree design shows a seasonal display idea in xTool’s crystal example. The wooden LED stand is an accessory, not part of the laser.

Single means MOPA only, not the dual-laser bundle

Price: F2 Ultra Single/MOPA-only standalone $3,799 in the announced US November 2–December 4 campaign; MSRP $4,299.
Where to buy: Choose the MOPA-only standalone variant

The F2 Ultra Single is the 60W MOPA version. Its metal-focused capabilities include engraving and color marking on compatible metals, with stainless steel and titanium among xTool’s examples. Color results depend on the material and settings; this isn’t a promise that every blank will produce the same palette.

The important purchase detail is what’s missing: this Single configuration doesn’t include the 40W diode laser. xTool sells a separate dual-laser F2 Ultra, and the shared product page’s title can name both laser sources even when the selected package is MOPA-only. Use the linked variant and confirm that the selection says “MOPA Only” and “Standalone.”

Four different ways to personalize metal

These examples from xTool’s MOPA-specific demonstration section show color marking, black lettering, relief engraving and cut name pendants. For cutting, confirm the supported metal and thickness.

Color engraving on metal opens up a different look from a conventional monochrome mark. It’s xTool’s MOPA demonstration.

A black-marked plaque shows how lettering and a logo can stand out against a light metal surface. Example supplied by xTool.

Relief-engraved coins show the dimensional detail of xTool’s 60W MOPA examples.

Cut name pendants suggest a different kind of personalization from surface engraving. xTool presents these as a MOPA metal-cutting example.

Budget for the complete setup

The wattages aren’t a simple better-or-worse ranking across different laser technologies. Both are listed as Class 4 lasers. Use the required laser precautions and fume handling, not just the protective cover, and follow the operating instructions for your material. Conveyors and rotary accessories are separate package choices.
