An RTX 5070 Ti gaming laptop at $1,599 is the whole story on Amazon’s early Black Friday board right now. The MSI Vector 16 HX AI undercuts every other laptop running that GPU by hundreds of dollars, and it’s the rare early deal that survives a look at its own price history. Three more machines earn their spots below it. The rest of the board doesn’t, and we’ll show you that part too.

The board itself is short this year, and that’s worth knowing before you shop it. Memory and storage prices climbed through 2026, most of the big gaming nameplates are sitting at the highest prices they’ve carried all year, and the early discounts cluster on a handful of machines. We checked the usual suspects against their own price histories. Three laptops are genuinely cheaper than they’ve been, and a fourth is the cheapest verified route into an RTX 5080 we’ve found this week. Everything else is a listing waiting for a better week.

MSI Vector 16 HX AI: RTX 5070 Ti power at $1,599

MSI Vector 16 HX AI

The Vector pairs Intel’s Core Ultra 7 255HX, a 20-core HX chip, with the RTX 5070 Ti running up to 140W with Dynamic Boost and 12GB of GDDR7 behind it. That’s a 1440p high-refresh machine: DLSS 4 frame generation on top of real raster headroom, and the 12GB frame buffer is the part that ages well as texture budgets keep growing. If you play at 1440p on an external monitor or plan to keep this laptop through the next console cycle, this is the configuration that holds up.

The compromises are the screen and the storage. The built-in panel is a 16-inch FHD+ IPS display at 144Hz with 45% NTSC color coverage: fine for gaming, washed out next to the QHD+ panels on pricier Vectors. The 512GB SSD fills up fast at modern install sizes. The 16GB of DDR5 sits in two slots and upgrades to 96GB, so the memory is a cheap fix later rather than a wall. You’re paying for the GPU and the chip here, and at this price that’s the right trade.

Lenovo LOQ 15: the 32GB, 1TB configuration at $1,349.99

Lenovo LOQ 15

Most budget gaming laptops make you choose between memory and storage. This LOQ configuration skips the choice: a Ryzen 7 250, an RTX 5060, 32GB of DDR5, and a 1TB SSD, with a laptop cooler bundled in the box. The 15.6-inch FHD panel runs at 144Hz with G-SYNC, which is the right pairing for the 5060. You get high frame rates at 1080p with no tearing, and you aren’t overspending on pixels the GPU can’t feed.

Two things to know before you buy it. This is a bundle listing, so the configuration comes from the seller rather than Lenovo’s own storefront shelf. And the RTX 5060 is a 1080p card: it runs today’s games well at the panel’s native resolution, and 1440p is where it runs out of road. Inside those lines, it’s the most complete under-$1,400 package we’ve verified this week.

Acer Nitro V 17: the biggest screen here at $1,129.99

Acer Nitro V 17

The Nitro V 17 is the cheapest verified deal on the board, and it happens to carry the biggest display: 17.3 inches of FHD IPS at 180Hz. The RTX 5060 and Ryzen 5 240 won’t chase the Vector, but at $1,129.99 you’re paying entry-level money for a current-generation GPU, a fast panel, and a screen with real room on it. The cut is a modest $70 under the listing’s own $1,199.99 reference price. Modest and real beats deep and invented.

The Ryzen 5 240 is the entry chip in AMD’s 200 series, and the 512GB SSD is tight. Neither changes what this machine is: a big-screen 1080p rig for buyers whose budget stops at $1,130, and the only one at that budget we’d point to right now.

GIGABYTE Gaming A16 Pro: the RTX 5080 step-up at $2,199

GIGABYTE Gaming A16 Pro

If the budget stretches past $2,000, this is where it should land. The Gaming A16 Pro runs an RTX 5080 with 16GB of GDDR7, 32GB of memory, a 1TB SSD, and a 16-inch 2560×1600 IPS panel at 165Hz with full sRGB coverage. It’s the cheapest verified RTX 5080 laptop in the current field, and it isn’t a stripped configuration built to make the price work: the memory and storage are the sizes you’d spec yourself.

Two honest limits. The 5080 here runs at up to 115W, short of the full-power draw the thickest 5080 machines allow, and the Core 7 240H is a mainstream chip, a step below the HX processors in the Vector and the Strix. The 32GB of LPDDR5x is onboard, so what you buy is what you keep. The offer also runs through a marketplace seller, so confirm the seller is still Snow Bell at checkout before you pay. None of that changes the math: at $2,199, this is the step-up pick for buyers who were about to spend flagship money anyway.

The names we’re skipping, and why

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 is a great laptop sitting at $2,059.99 on Amazon, the highest price its listing has carried. The Lenovo Legion 5 OLED is at its ceiling too. The ROG Strix G16 runs the same RTX 5070 Ti as the Vector and costs $2,755.16, over $1,100 more for a better screen and a faster chip. None of those are deals today, so none of them are on this list. If your heart’s set on one of them, the honest move is waiting: Black Friday is three weeks out, and these are exactly the listings that move when it lands.

Buy the Vector if you game at 1440p and want the strongest GPU your money reaches this month. Step up to the GIGABYTE if the budget passes $2,000 and you want RTX 5080 headroom with the memory and storage already right. Buy the Nitro if the budget is the budget. Everything else on Amazon’s early board is a listing waiting for a better price, and we’ll update this list the day one shows up.
