Dublin Airport predicting busiest day in its history

Rail passengers in Dublin are being warned of disruption with 18 station closures between Dublin's Connolly station and Bray.
On the roads, a policing operation in place for the bank holiday weekend has already seen more than 100 drivers caught for speeding.
The June bank holiday weekend is traditionally a busy one for travel and, across this weekend, more than half a million passengers are expected at Dublin Airport.
Dublin Airport Authority is projecting that tomorrow will be the busiest day in Dublin Airport's history, with 131,000 passengers expected to fly in or fly out from there.

Cork and Shannon Airports are also busy, with 69,000 people expected to use Cork Airport this bank holiday weekend.
There's disruption for some rail passengers in Dublin, though: 18 stations between Connolly Station and Bray are closed due to engineering work being carried out on the line.
Tomorrow, DART services will operate between Malahide, Howth and Connolly Stations only.
The disruption to services will affect some of the 30,000 participants travelling to and from tomorrow's Women's Mini Marathon in Dublin.
In Cork, more than 12,000 people have registered to take park in the Cork City Marathon, half marathon and 10K events there, with 3,000 participants in the full marathon.
On the roads, a policing operation is continuing. The driver of a car in his 20s died early this morning in a crash at the Ward in Finglas in Dublin.
More than 100 drivers have been detected speeding; another 115 have been caught not wearing a seat belt or using mobile phones.
More than 50 people have been arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
