Reduced transport services ahead of Christmas Day

Reduced transport services are running today as operations wind down earlier this evening ahead of Christmas Day.

Intending passengers for any public transport are advised to check the relevant website for exact details of final depatures on Christmas Eve as well as service details for the Christmas schedule.

Both Bus Éireann and Expressway services will operate to a Wednesday schedule.

The last departures of Bus Éireann's City, Town, Commuter and Rural services are at around 9pm tonight.

Services starting up to and including 9pm tonight will complete their full trip.

Iarnród Éireann is running a weekday InterCity service but with cancellations and alterations on certain routes, with last services between 6pm and 8.30pm this evening.

DART and Commuter services are operating to a Saturday schedule with last services between 7.25pm and 9pm tonight.

Dublin Bus is operating to a Saturday service but with earlier last departures listed on its website.

Cork Commuter is also running to a Saturday service.

There will be no train services operating on any routes tomorrow, Christmas Day or on St Stephen's Day.
