Motorcyclist, 60s, killed in crash in Co Donegal

A man in his 60s has died in a collision involving a motorcycle and a car in Co Donegal.

The crash occurred on the N56 at Termon at around 4.30pm.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been removed to Letterkenny University Hospital where a post-mortem examination will take place.

A woman in her 30s, who was the driver of the car, was taken to hospital for the treatment of non-serious injuries.

The scene is currently preserved for examination and local diversions remain in place.

Gardaí have appealed to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward, and have asked anyone who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, to make it available to investigating gardaí.
