This is how I turned my TV into a conversation starter

· New York Post

TL;DR: These USB drives connect to your TV so you can display paintings and photography, now $15 off.

Ah, TV. It’s my favorite pastime after a long day of writing. (Who doesn’t love binging Yellowstone…aka ogling at Rip Wheeler?) But its blank, black box when it’s turned off was my least favorite thing to look at in my home. Well, right after my toilet.

I saw this gadget on Facebook that could turn my TV into a slideshow of paintings. It was only $74.99 right here ($89.98 elsewhere).

My first thought was that I, a woman who’s been 39 for five years (if you know what I mean), wouldn’t be able to figure that out, but it’s just a USB drive that connects to your TV. Here’s how it works:

  1. Plug the gadget into your TV’s USB port. Most newer TVs have this.
  2. Change your TV’s input to “USB” using your remote.
  3. Select play or another function that allows the images to scroll through.
  4. That’s it!

DreamScreens Bundles: Turn Your TV Into a 4K Digital Art Gallery!

New York

I host a book club once every two weeks in my living room, so I was most excited to have some artwork to display on my TV instead of the black abyss. My purchase came with two USB drives, one with 500 famous paintings and one with 500 artistic photography shots, so I’ll have plenty of conversation starters for book club.

Since these USB drives would also work as digital frame pictures or backdrops for a computer, I’m considering giving them as gifts this holiday season. Some of my book club ladies cannot stop talking about how much they’d love to have this setup in their homes.

Put an art slideshow on your TV with these USB drives at $74.99 (reg. $89.98).
