I unboxed PrettyLittleThing's 2024 beauty advent calendar worth £195 - it's now on sale for £50
by Phoebe Barton · Wales OnlineEven though it's still November, I decided to open my PrettyLittleThing advent calendar early for the sake of journalism, to help you determine if it's worth your hard-earned money. With so many beauty calendars on the market from various brands, choosing one can be challenging.
Each calendar has different products behind each door, and the price tags can vary significantly, with some costing hundreds of pounds. This year's PLT advent calendar is more budget-friendly, currently on sale for £50, down from its original retail price of £55.
But don't let the lower price fool you - it's filled with fantastic products from well-known brands. The contents are valued at £195, giving you a lovely saving of £145.

As soon as I unwrapped my PLT calendar, I was immediately taken aback by the sheer size of the stylish black and pink box that will look stunning in my bedroom. I opened the box and was greeted by 24 boxes of varying sizes - I couldn't wait to dive in.
I opened the calendar in numerical order, but I've mixed them up for a bit of surprise if you decide to buy it. Many of the 24 items inside are brands I'm familiar with but haven't used before, so I'm excited to try them out. Stop reading now if you'd rather not know exactly what's inside.
The original West Barn Co Soap Brows with Bamboo Spoolie (RRP £15) is included, and I'm intrigued to see how it will transform my dark and currently quite bushy eyebrows. Another product I've been eager to try is the St Tropez Bronzing Water Serum with vitamins C and D (RRP £25), ideal for my pale complexion during the winter months. Considering these two products alone would cost me £40, I genuinely believe the PLT advent calendar is worth every penny.
One item took me on an unexpected trip down memory lane - the Peaches and Cream Lip Liner (RRP £3.95) in the shade Hotline. I had my makeup done at Peaches and Cream in Liverpool for my high school prom in 2015, so I was delighted to see the brand featured in this year's calendar.
Some of the items in the calendar, like the fluffy headband, tweezers and eyelash curlers, are similar to ones I already have. But that's not an issue as it means I have replacements for when my current ones wear out or get dirty. If I wanted, I could even use some of the items as stocking fillers for family and friends, saving myself more money.

The 2024 beauty advent calendar from PrettyLittleThing has left me rather impressed with its fantastic array of products and value. The only downside is that it included two sets of stunning false eyelashes, but no adhesive. I've only ever worn lashes when having my makeup done professionally, so I don't have any lash glue, meaning I'll need to purchase this separately to wear the lashes.
