Strictly Come Dancing is back for its second live show, and fans are eager to see who will top the leaderboard this time.

The glitziest show on telly returned last weekend, with all the couples hitting the dance floor for the first time, impressing both the discerning judges and BBC viewers.

While no one was sent home after the first show, the second week will see one celebrity and their professional dance partner ending their Strictly journey prematurely.

So, before the results are announced on Sunday, September 28, who's leading the pack on the leaderboard and who might be in danger of being the first to be shown the door?

Here's a rundown of all 15 couples' scores, their songs and dances, as well as the feedback they received from the judges, reports the Mirror.

Strictly Come Dancing week 2 leaderboard

Tom Dean and Nadiya Bychkova - 20

Olympic swimmer Tom Dean was the first to take to the dance floor this week, performing a Cha Cha to Earth, Wind and Fire's Boogie Wonderland.

Shirley Bassey noted a "tiny mishap" on partner Nadiya's part due to a costume malfunction but commended how he "coped and carried on".

Anton Du Beke thought he was a "bit hesitant", while Craig Revel Horwood remarked that he was "lacking fluidity".

Punam Krishan and Gorka Marquez - 18

TV doctor Punam Krishan delivered a sassy Foxtrot to Shania Twain's Man! I Feel Like A Woman!

Motsi Mabuse expressed her admiration for the solo parts of the performance, but advised that posture needed improvement when in hold.

Shirley praised her as one of the "most dynamic performers" in the competition, however, she noted that her lower body performance was lacking.

Paul Merson and Karen Hauer - 15

Former footballer and manager Paul Merson gave his all in a Salsa to Pitbull's Fire with dance partner Karen Hauer.

Craig likened the routine to a "comedy dance at a wedding", while Shirley was left speechless, yet insisted it was "pure entertainment".

Anton was delighted to see Paul dance, but humorously remarked that he didn't want to discuss the "technique because there wasn't any".

Wynne Evans and Katya Jones - 30

Go Compare Man Wynne Evans performed the Viennese Waltz to The Blue Danube by Johann Strauss II with Katya Jones, much to the delight of the judges.

Shirley complimented his good frame and expressed her desire to give him a "always want to give you a snuggle bunny cuddle", which led Anton to give the celebrity a hug.

Motsi suggested that he needed to strive to "keep it constant until the end", while Craig noted there weren't "many heel leads", but still enjoyed the performance.

JB Gill and Amy Dowden - 27

JLS star JB Gill and his partner Amy Dowden delivered a smooth Cha Cha with Amy Dowden to Ne-Yo's Closer.

Anton appreciated the technique, stating it was "coming on beautifully", but would like to see more fluidity.

Craig Revel Horwood critiqued one performance for "[having] almost too much attack", yet he conceded that the hip rolls "blew" him away.

Sam Quek and Nikita Kuzmin - 22

Olympic hockey champion Sam Quek, partnered with Nikita Kuzmin, infused her Charleston routine with infectious energy, dancing to a tune by Bob Wilson and his Varsity Rhythm Boys.

Despite Craig pointing out she was behind the beat, encountered "sloppy" footwork, and had "heavy" lifts, he was impressed by her swivelling finish, calling it "amazing".

Motsi Mabuse couldn't hide her admiration for Quek's zest on the dance floor, urging her to maintain that vivacious spirit.

Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell - 29

Meanwhile, comedian Chris McCausland, visually impaired, performed a charming Foxtrot with Dianne Buswell to the joyous sounds of The Tams' Be Young, Be Foolish, Be Happy.

Judge Anton Du Beke labelled it "wonderful", and head judge Shirley Ballas lauded Dianne's tuition, exclaiming that McCausland showcased "some beautiful footwork", despite Craig making a note of his "banana fingers" and suggesting he should smile more.

Jamie Borthwick and Michelle Tsiakkas - 27

Jamie Borthwick from 'EastEnders', alongside Michelle Tsiakkas, presented a Rumba set to Bill Withers' classic Ain't No Sunshine.

It marked an unprecedented choice for week two in fifteen years.

While Craig felt their emotional connection was lacking, Shirley disagreed entirely, celebrating Jamie's fearless approach and saying it "pleased me no ends".

Motsi concurred with this view, telling Jamie he did a "man's job in a Rumba" and describing him as "talented".

Toyah Willcox and Neil Jones - 18

This week, singer Toyah Willcox performed an energetic Jive with Neil Jones to Tina Turner's Nutbush City Limits. Anton thought she was "1,000 times better" than the previous week, a view shared by Shirley.

Craig noted that she was "flat footed" but praised her energy, saying "love, love, love your energy". Motsi thought Toyah was "living" the jive and said she "loved it".

Nick Knowles and Luba Mushtuk - 21

After a challenging week due to an arm injury sustained while changing a tyre, DIY SOS star Nick Knowles took to the dance floor for an American Smooth to Blur's Park Life with Luba Mushtuk.

Craig described the performance as "a bit ploddy" but acknowledged Nick's potential. Shirley chose not to focus on Nick's footwork, instead highlighting Luba's efforts in adapting the routine to accommodate his injury, saying: "What you did for 16 hours is absolutely amazing".

Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe - 30

Gladiator Montell Douglas delivered a sassy Samba with partner Johannes Radebe to Elenii Foureira's Fuego. Motsi suggested that Montell needed to work on her footwork but thought she was "fire".

Anton "absolutely loved it" and encouraged her to maintain her performance level in future dances.

Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Skorjanec - 35

Tasha Ghouri delivered a captivating Viennese Waltz with Aljaz Skorjanec to the tunes of Dorothy Moore's 'Misty Blue', earning a standing ovation from judges Motsi Mabuse and Shirley Ballas.

Anton Du Beke heaped praise on Tashas "immaculate" frame, admitting he'd award her a 12 if it were possible, while Craig Revel Horwood proclaimed it the "dance of the night".

Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu - 31

The dance floor witnessed high drama as Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu performed a passionate Tango to Teddy Swim's 'The Door'.

Shirley Ballas pointed out Shayne's nervousness backstage but applauded his dedication, commenting on how he "held [his] head high and did the job".

Anton noted Shayne could be a "real powerhouse" in the competition, echoed by Craig who dubbed him "one to watch", while Motsi labelled their routine a "shining star of a Tango".

Pete Wicks and Jowita Pzystal - 22

Pete Wicks, known for his appearances on TOWIE, along with his partner Jowita Przystal glided through an elegant American Smooth to Post Malone and Morgan Wallen's 'I Had Some Help'.

Anton was enthralled by Pete's performance, testifying that he did a "really good job", while Craig remarked it was "more lumberjack than cowboy", yet complimented the "fantastic" lifts.

Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola - 32

Actress Sarah Hadland, alongside Vito Coppola, brought intensity to the dance floor with a Paso Doble set to Gala, Molella, Phil Jay's 'Freed From Desire'.

Craig praised the performance, saying it "got me going, darling" and highlighted its "fire, power, intent and attack".

Motsi was also impressed, particularly with the finishing line, the "beautiful story" it told, and how "so controlled" it looked, despite a minor mistake where the dancer failed to stop in time.
