Marks & Spencer has recently released a 'nautical inspired' jumper and its cosiness and style has won over winter shoppers. The M&S Collection Striped Ribbed Button Detail Relaxed Jumper is priced at £35 and is currently available in a cream mix with sizes XS to XL up for grabs.

With a relaxed fit that gives a 'laid back look', the jumper features a classic crew neck, long sleeves and an all-over ribbed texture. Added details include stripes at the hem and sleeve, side vents, and 'military-style buttons' which shoppers have taken a particular shine to, calling it an "interesting" feature.

Flagged as 'popular' on the Marks & Spencer website, the jumper has earned an overall star rating of 4.5. One pleased buyer wrote: "Smart jumper to dress up or down with a skirt or jeans. The button finish is attractive and unusual."

Similarly, another wrote: "Lovely soft, warm ribbed jumper. Very comfortable to wear. Love the button detail." While a third said: "Wonderful winter white jumper! Great styling with grey trim. The buttoned sides are an interesting feature. Good quality garment and super value for money. A lovely dress up jumper."

This customer shared their styling suggestions, they said: "Very stylish jumper, perfect fit and good quality. I wore it with wide trousers and trainers or boots. A fabulous addition to your wardrobe."

A fifth shopper has received compliments on their new purchase, but did have one small note: "Really happy with this jumper. My only criticism (and only a very small one) is that I would prefer it to be slightly longer. It hasn’t deterred the compliments I’ve received though when wearing it. I bought a size 12 which was a good fit and not tightly fitted."

In addition, a three star shopper was unhappy with the fit, they said: "I ordered a Large in black,. I am not happy with the fit as I normally 16/18 but it is very loose. Also quite bulky a, short in the body and the neck is quite tight. I liked the look of it but it isn’t what I was expecting so it will be returned."
