18 of Liverpool's most thrilling Halloween looks
by Paul McAuley · Liverpool EchoWhere better to look for Halloween inspiration than those who transform themselves into gorgeous drag queens daily

It's well-documented that Liverpool has no shortage of talent when it comes to drag queens. Week in and week out, the Pride Quarter performers pull out all the stops to entertain the hundreds who enjoy the city's safe spaces.
Whether it be DJing, comedy, hosting or lip-synching, the LGBTQ+ venues have you covered. Of course, an equally important part of the job the queens will tell you is how they look and portray themselves. This is no more evident than when it comes to the month of October, in the lead up to Halloween.
From retakes of fan favourites to glamorised horror characters, the talented bunch haven't missed a beat in the last few weeks. What makes it even more impressive, these thrilling looks - hair and make-up - are all produced by entertainers themselves.
The ECHO has created a photo story of some of the brilliant ensembles, including Brothers Grimm's Little Red Riding Hood after she fought off the wolf, one-third of the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus and Stephen King's shape-shifting evil entity. You can enjoy all the looks below.
