Seven Cafe & Grill

Clovis’s Seven Cafe & Grill gives customers a plethora of choices when it comes to breakfast — whenever they want to have it. It focuses more on American-style cuisine, with biscuits and gravy, pancakes, sausage links and other options, but also pulls in French toast, Belgian waffles and skillets.

Jay Parker, a server and bartender who has been with the restaurant for 11 years, says the breakfast menu is popular, with steak and eggs a perennial favorite.

He says all-day breakfast sets Seven apart from other eateries, and that some people are surprised when they can still order breakfast later in the day.

“It’s not a common choice among restaurants these days,” Parker said.

Seven Cafe & Grill is open seven days a week, from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Yosemite Falls Cafe

All-day breakfast has been part of the menu at Yosemite Falls Cafe since it opened 21 years ago, and it’s a category the restaurant takes seriously.

It has ‘traditional’ breakfasts, served with three smaller pancakes and a choice of hashbrowns or country potatoes (or other sides, upon request), but it also has breakfast favorites, which includes biscuits and gravy, omelets and Mexican dishes, such as carne asada and eggs.

There’s also a ‘hiker’s choice’ combo: Customers can pick one entree, such as a Belgian waffle, cinnamon roll French toast or four pancakes, and one side, such as three strips of bacon or three country sausage patties.

“Our menu is very open,” said Joseph Perales, the general manager of the recently-reopened Yosemite Falls Cafe on Blackstone Ave. “There’s always something for everybody.”

Yosemite Falls Cafe has two locations: the Fresno location at 5123 N. Blackstone Ave., as well as one in Clovis at 1455 Shaw Ave. Hours differ by day and location.

La Torta

Elsa Noris, the owner of La Torta in The Galleria in downtown Fresno, has been operating her restaurant for the past 26 years. YAVA Bakery & Cafe at 7775 N. Palm Ave Ste. #101 in Fresno is a Mediterranean and French bakery and cafe, serving breakfast all day inspired by both cuisines.
