by Danny Tan · Paul Tan's Automotive NewsPLUS users, take note. There will be temporary road diversions and a stoppage of traffic from Kulai to Senai (Utara) in Johor next week, on the night of March 10 till the morning of March 11. It’s for rock blasting works as part of the extra lane project from Yong Peng (Utara) to Senai (Utara).
The exact location on the North South Highway is KM23.9 to KM26.1 northbound and KM24.7 to KM26.1 southbound. The diversion will be from 10pm on March 10 till 5am the following morning. This is for the preparation and clean-up works.
The actual rock blasting will happen around 1am on March 11, and traffic will be temporarily stopped between Kulai and Senai (Utara) for a few minutes, PLUS says. This is to ensure safety for all when the blast happens. The road will be reopened as soon as possible once clean up works and safety checks are complete.
Highway users are advised to plan their journey and follow the signs and crew at the work site. Drive safe.
