The Porsche Cayenne Electric gets a stablemate in the form of the Cayenne Coupé Electric, which was shown at the 2026 Auto China in Beijing. As with its regular SUV twin, the Cayenne Coupé Electric range from debut is comprised of the base, S and Turbo variants.

Measuring 4,985 mm long, 1,980 mm wide and 1,650 mm tall, the Cayenne Coupé Electric is the same length and width as the Cayenne Electric SUV, but 24 mm lower. Luggage capacity in the rear of the Cayenne Coupé Electric ranges from 534 litres to 1,347 litres, while the front luggage compartment holds a further 90 litres. For towing ability, the Cayenne Coupé Electric matches its SUV twin, at 3.5 tonnes.

Powertrain specifications are identical to those of the Cayenne Electric SUV, albeit packaged in a sleeker-roofed body that brings a lower drag coefficient of 0.23 Cd compared to 0.25 Cd of the SUV, enabling a WLTP-rated battery range of up to 669 km, up from the 653 km WLTP range rating of the Cayenne S Electric that is the SUV variant with the longest range.

The powertrain carried over from the Cayenne Electric SUV means that the Cayenne Coupé Electric gets 408 PS in base guise (442 PS with launch control, 0-100 km/h 4.8 seconds, 230 km/h top speed), the Cayenne S Coupé Electric gets 544 PS (666 PS with launch control, 0-100 km/h 3.8 seconds, 250 km/h top speed), and the Cayenne Turbo Coupé Electric gets 857 PS (1,156 PS with launch control, 0-100 km/h 2.5 seconds, 260 km/h top speed).

Charging for the Cayenne Coupé Electric is rated at up to 400 kW DC under optimal conditions, while AC charging can be done at up to 11 kW, or 22 kW AC as optional specification. The battery is the same 113 kWh unit as in the regular SUV bodystyle, where a 10-80% state of charge can be attained in under 16 minutes, and a 10-minute charge brings additional 325 km of range in the Cayenne Electric, or 315 km in the Cayenne Turbo Electric.

Chassis equipment for the Cayenne Coupé Electric mirrors that of the Cayenne Electric SUV, with the Coupé also getting adaptive air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as standard, while the S and the Turbo variants of the Cayenne Coupé Electric can be optioned with Porsche Active Ride active suspension. All three launch variants can be specified with rear-axle steering, which steers the rear wheels by up to five degrees.

Dashboard architecture for the Cayenne Coupé Electric is adopted from the Cayenne Electric SUV, where a fully digital driver’s instrument display and the Flow Display that spans the width from the centre, where it blends from the dashboard to the centre console, to the passenger side of the dashboard.

An augmented reality head-up display is optionally available. Further standard equipment in the Cayenne Coupé Electric includes a panoramic glass roof (that can be optioned with Variable Light Control), and the Sport Chrono package.

Specific to the Cayenne Coupé Electric is the optional Lightweight Sport Package that saves up to 17.6 kg in weight, and this package consists of a carbon-fibre roof, carbon-fibre inserts, and 22-inch alloy wheels shod in high-performance tyres.

The Lightweight Package also brings seat centre panels upholstered in Pepita pattern cloth, Race-Tex headliner, and open-pore carbon-fibre elements. This package can be optioned with black leather upholstery and a 2+1 rear seat configuration. In China, the top Cayenne Turbo Coupé Electric variant is priced from 1,158,000 yuan (RM666,802).
