Proton eMas 7 open for booking at ACE 2024 on Oct 26 – check out the interior and get early bird offer

We’re literally days away from the paultan.org Auto Car Expo (ACE) 2024, co-sponsored by Carro and Time Energy’s Emit Solar! See you this October 26-27 weekend at the Setia City Convention Centre for an avalanche of deals from a variety of brands.

Proton has announced that the eMas 7 EV SUV will be open for booking this Saturday, October 26 – the first day of ACE 2024. There’ll be limited early bird offers, so come on down and make hay while the sun shines. The interior will also be open to the public for the first time at ACE 2024.

Moreover, Proton will be launching the e.MAS app – you can book the eMas 7 directly on the app! The app will also have a financing calculator, find a dealer, charging location map and other functions to ease your EV ownership experience. You can certainly also book the eMas 7 at any of the 36 eMas dealers nationwide.

Based on Geely’s Global Intelligent New Energy Architecture (GMA) platform and powertrain management system, the Proton eMas 7’s 12-in-1 Intelligent Drive system endows it with a 160 kW/320 Nm motor that’s fed by Short Blade Battery Technology embedded in the EV’s cell-to-body architecture. 0-100 km/h is done in 6.9 seconds (faster than any other production Proton), the 100 km/h stopping distance is 35 metres and turning radius is 5.4 metres – Proton says the latter two parameters are class bests.

On the outside, you’ll see 19-inch alloys, full-length LED tail lamps, hidden door handles and an active grille shutter, while a 2.5K resolution, 15.4-inch head unit display takes centre stage inside. There’s ADAS too, naturally. Get up close and personal with Proton’s first EV at ACE 2024 before it launches later this year!

ACE 2024 will also host Toyota, BYD, Proton, Perodua, Ford, Mitsubishi, MG and Volkswagen, in addition to BMW/MINI (via Auto Bavaria), Mercedes-Benz (through Hap Seng Star) and Volvo (courtesy of Sime Darby Swedish Auto and Sisma Auto). Multi-brand dealership EON will represent smart and Audi while Cycle & Carriage will bring Peugeot and Leapmotor. BMW Motorrad will showcase its two wheelers; Trapo will exhibit its Exosystem product range.
