Proton Saga MC3 – 8,207 units delivered in April, +50.9% over March; YTD now 29,977, +42.8% YoY

Proton has announced that 8,207 units of the Proton Saga MC3 were delivered in April (+50.9% over March), lifting the sedan’s year-to-date (YTD) tally to 29,977 units (+42.8% year-on-year).

The Saga was Malaysia’s best-selling car in January (10,285 units), but supply issues affected sales in the following two months (February 6,007 units, March 5,398 units), which made it drop to second in February and third in March.

This was enough to allow the positively-ancient Perodua Bezza to overtake it in terms of YTD sales (22,955 versus 21,690 units) in March – let’s see which sedan will come out on top for April. Watch our full review of the 2026 Proton Saga MC3 below.
