Udupi: Car plunges into river near Kodavoor, driver and toddler rescued

Udupi, Sep 21: A driver and a three-year-old child had a miraculous escape after their car plunged into a river near Chennangadi in Kodavoor.

Noticing the vehicle fall into the water, a local fisherman named Ganesh immediately jumped into the river to mount a rescue. 

Demonstrating immense presence of mind, he successfully extricated the driver and the toddler who were trapped inside the vehicle and brought them safely to the banks.

Locals have highly commended the bravery and timely action of Ganesh, whose courageous efforts saved two precious lives.
