by Paul Kelly · PCGamesNHow do you solve the Glenbright Manor mission? While looking for your comrades, and shortly after that, a devilish creature, you pass through a large estate that houses Glenbright Manor. The occupants of the manor have seen better days, but that isn't the most interesting part of your time here.
It isn't uncommon to stumble across a puzzle in Crimson Desert - the Dragon's Stone puzzle had us scratching our heads for a while, for instance. Glenbright Manor, however, is a different beast. A house that contains treasures both obvious and hidden, getting to the bottom of this place is well worth your time, and we can tell you how to do it. Be aware, there may be some small spoilers for Crimson Desert ahead.
How to solve the Glenbright Manor puzzle
You will come across Glenbright Manor in Chapter III, and upon entering the premises, it's obvious that something is amiss. We think it's the dead bodies strewn across the driveway that gave it away. Death aside, once you enter the house, you should notice the rather large crystal statue on the second floor and the mystical-looking chandelier next to it.
The first step in solving the Glenbright Manor puzzle is to head up to the second floor and open the cabinet next to the crystal statue, which will reveal a wheel. This wheel controls the chandelier - interact with it to turn the chandelier so the light hits the crystal, which will open two secret panels on the same wall.
Pick up the two broken weapons inside these panels and head downstairs to the main entranceway. Next to the stairs, you will see a wall with a painting, and on the bottom right of this painting is a small symbol. If you walk into this painting, it will reveal a secret room with all manner of pilferable goods, and a key you need to collect.
Once you have the broken weapons and the secret room key, head upstairs to the Count's office. On his table, you will see another key - pick this up. Above the fireplace in the Count's office, you will see two holes, which are where the two broken weapons you picked up early go.
Insert the broken weapons into the fireplace, and a bookcase will move, revealing a secret passageway into the basement. Head down into the basement and collect your reward (if you don't count all of the various trinkets you can pick up) - the Cloudcart Blueprint.
Now that you know how to delve into the Glenbright Manor basement, there's just that pesky Devil of the Reed Fields to deal with. While you're in Glenbright Manor, if you don't mind walking on the wrong side of the tracks, there are a ton of trinkets to pilfer - check out our guide on how to steal in Crimson Desert if you're unsure how.
