Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer mod has a release date, and it's soon
· PCGamesNOpen 77 is quite an ambitious project: full multiplayer support for Cyberpunk 2077, with a bevy of additional activities for you and yours to get stuck into. There's RP, if you're into that, racing, and even world bosses to take down with the help of those around you - and it now has a release date.
The Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer mod, Open 77, will be released on November 6 at 2pm PST / 5pm EST / 10pm UTC, and is free to download provided you have a copy of Cyberpunk. You can host your own servers, or join one in progress, and that's it.
I'm a big Cyberpunk 2077 enjoyer, especially in its current form. The post-release tweaks and Phantom Liberty DLC rejuvenated the open-world game from what was frankly a bit of a mess at launch. The only thing missing from my exploits in Night City was other people, really, but now I can gather all of the V's from around the globe and decide who has the better outfits.
RP servers have been all the rage in GTA for quite a while now, and with such a huge range of people on show in Night City, there really isn't any limit on who you can be should you want to commit yourself.
NCPD could be a fun excursion, busting the heads of those pesky mercs that treat the city like their playground. Become a fixer, sorting jobs for everyone else and keeping your hands clean. Maybe just be a regular person - as regular as you can be in CP, anyway. Just because I've got metal arms and a pneumatic jaw doesn't mean I don't have feelings, okay?
