Best BO6 and Warzone Krig C loadout and class build
Our best Black Ops 6 and Warzone Krig C loadout guide serves up two scintillating builds that will turn this unruly AR into a real beamer.
by Aaron Down · PCGamesNWhat is the best Krig C loadout in Black Ops 6 and Warzone? Many of Black Ops 6’s assault rifles fill the same role, offering a safe mid-range option. The Krig 6 rewards fast decision-making with quick kills, giving players who enjoy skirmishing over extended firefights a real boon to their arsenal.
Black Ops 6 Season 1 launched with two new BO6 weapons, the Krig C and the BO6 Saug. The Krig C is pinpoint accurate when first fired, but it can get a little unruly after that initial burst. With our best Krig 6 loadout options for Black Ops 6 and Warzone, we can tame the assault rifle to make it more manageable during firefights. But first, you’ll need to know how to unlock the Krig C.
How to unlock the Krig C in Black Ops 6
The Krig C is the HVT item on page six of the Black Ops 6 battle pass. To unlock the Krig C you must claim all the items on page six using your battle pass tokens.
Players who own the Blackcell version of the battle pass can begin their unlock journey on whichever page they like, meaning they can gain access to the Krig C immediately.
Best Black Ops 6 Krig C loadout
- Optic: Volzhskiy Reflex
- Muzzle: Ported Compensator
- Barrel: Long Barrel
- Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
- Magazine: Extended Mag I
- Rear Grip: Commando Grip
- Stock: Balanced Stock
- Fire Mods: Recoil Springs
With the Long Barrel alone, the Krig C can take down a target at 50 meters with just four shots to the chest. As such, the majority of this loadout revolves around keeping its ramping recoil down so that its damage numbers can shine.
While the Krig’s initial recoil pattern only requires some slight control to keep it stable, the Ported Compensator helps ensure it stays that way. On larger maps, we’d be inclined to take the Suppressor instead to stay out of sight. Next up we have the Vertical Foregrip to further keep the vertical spray pattern modest. The final attachment that we’ve gone with to specifically wrestle down the recoil is the Recoil Springs fire mod, which will help keep you in place both horizontally and vertically.
As this is a Gunfighter build, we gain access to all eight potential attachment slots. To make the most of this, we’re running the Extended Mag I to add 50% more rounds to the mag with very little drawback. Then we have the Commando Grip which will help us get from moving to firing that bit quicker.
Taking stock of our options at the butt of the gun, we always value mobility incredibly highly, even when not zooming around with an SMG. As such, the Balanced Stock gets the nod from us. Finally, slap your sight of choice on top – we’re Volzhskiy Reflex enjoyers – and you’re good to go.
Best Black Ops 6 Krig C class build
- Secondary weapon: Grekhova
- Melee: Knife
- Tactical: Stim Shot
- Lethal: Semtex
- Field Upgrade: Acoustic Amp
- Perk 1: Gung-ho
- Perk 2: Assassin
- Perk 3: Double Time
- Specialty: Enforcer
- Wildcard: Gunfighter
We’ve really warmed to the Grekhova since launch, and while you can opt for any secondary, this one takes the spot for us. In the Tactical slot, you’ll want to keep yourself juiced up with a Stim Shot – not every engagement will be long-range, and the health you get back from it is crucial to maintaining your streak. In the Lethal slot, meanwhile, we’ve been having great success with the Semtex in general, so we’ve stuck them in here. Finally, the Acoustic Amp Field Upgrade will help you sniff out nearby enemies, which is crucial if you’ve opted for the Ported Compensator over the Suppressor’s safety blanket.
For perks, we’ve opted for a pretty standard Enforcer setup that you’ll find on some of our other AR loadouts, and for good reason. Gung-ho keeps you on the move and safe from enemy fire while reloading, Assassin marks your next target, and Double Time helps you get there faster. Enforcer itself is amazing for snowballing streaks as you can combine its movement speed buff with Omnimovement to go wild – the health regen bonus helps, too.
Best Warzone Krig C loadout
- Optic: Volzhskiy Reflex
- Barrel: Long Barrel
- Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
- Magazine: Extended Mag II
- Fire Mods: Recoil Springs
Whether you’re holding it down in Urzikstan or keeping it lowkey in Area 99, the best Warzone Krig C loadout might not be as luxurious on the attachment front as its BO6 brother. But it’s still more than stable enough to make the magic happen – be it as part of a sniper support build or as a mid-long-range laser.
Maximizing stability, we’ve gone for the delightful duo that is the Vertical Foregrip and Recoil Springs. Yes, you will still need to drag down on your mouse or thumbstick a bit more than the BO6 loadout, but it’s more than manageable. Maintaining that four-shot kill at 50 meters is incredibly important – especially on Urzikstan – so the Long Barrel makes the cut.
As you’ll likely be taking on full squads in one go, we’ve thrown caution to the wind and slapped on the Extended Mag II, more than doubling the Krig’s magazine capacity to 70 rounds. Think of it as a more mobile, faster-firing mini LMG. Finally, we’d recommend using a standard sight like the Volzhskiy Reflex if you’re running the Krig as a sniper support option, or the Willis 3x if you’re packing an SMG as a secondary and want to make the most of the AR’s effective range.
Best Warzone Krig C class build
- Secondary weapon: LR 7.62
- Melee: Knife
- Tactical: Smoke Grenade
- Lethal: Semtex
- Perk 1: Grenadier
- Perk 2: Quick Fix
- Perk 3: Alertness
- Wildcard: Overkill
For a sniper support build, we’d advise you to take a look at our Black Ops 6 LR 7.62 loadout for inspiration. The noble Smoke Grenade is king for (relatively) safe rotations, so that remains our Tactical of choice. Once again, Lethal is subjective but the Semtex is our best friend.
While the perks aren’t quite as perky in Warzone as they are in BO6, you still have great options – Grenadier gives you a helping hand with landing your Semtex, Quick Fix keeps you healthy in hectic fights, and Alterness lets you know when you should use that smoke you’ve kept for special occasions. When Veteran becomes available as part of the Hit List event (more on that in our BO6 events guide), opt for that over Grenadier to aid your sniping.
Alternatively, if you’re running the Krig as your long-range primary, pairing this beast with something mobile like the Black Ops 6 C9 loadout will mean that you can take any fight as it comes. To complete this more mobile iteration of the build, switch out Veteran for Dexterity, and Alertness for either Resolute or Ghost.
Best Krig C alternatives
The best Krig C alternative in both BO6 and Warzone is the XM4. Having been buffed in Season 1, our best XM4 loadout makes what is currently the best AR in the game even better. Based on the classic M4 Carbine, the XM4 is a jack of all trades, and right now it’s a master of all. Robust, powerful, and the choice of aimers everywhere, you won’t be left disappointed.
Now you know how to unlock the Krig C, you can level this heavy-hitter up and take the fight to your enemies. Take a look at our best Black Ops 6 loadouts if you want some inspiration for a secondary weapon. For more top BO6 guides from us, check out our dedicated guides hub.
