Arc Raiders is about to drop its "biggest update yet," and no, we don't mean this Subway crossover
· PCGamesNArc Raiders is days away from showing off the Frozen Trail, a major update that could define the future of the extraction shooter going forward. However, Embark Studios is finding time to remind raiders that there are also new cosmetics waiting for them, provided they're willing to buy a Subway sandwich.
The developer highlights its Subway collaboration in a fresh trailer, ahead of the September 23's Frozen Trail first look, which will finally pull back the curtain on the update arriving on October 8, 2026. Embark first announced the crossover in August, tying the promotional rewards to the launch of Frozen Trail, but it only recently bore fruit.
Before it ends on October 26, US customers who make a qualifying Subway purchase can receive a code for exclusive Arc Raiders rewards. The promotion is only available at participating Subway locations in the United States, so Raiders elsewhere will have to watch and stay hungry from the sidelines. That includes me, a certified Meatball Marinara and B.M.T lover.
If you happen to live near a Subway in the US, a qualifying meal consists of a Footlong or 6-inch sub, wrap, salad, or bowl, alongside a bag of chips (crisps for my UK pals) or two cookies and a drink. Each qualifying order provides one code, which unlocks the Subterranean outfit plus a pre-assigned reward bundle. Those bundles also contain one additional Subway-themed outfit and color variant, alongside a weapon and support item.
The three possible outfit sets are Astrolite, Nascosto, and Rawhide, while the other gifts rotate weekly. The bundles aren't random, either: they're assigned to individual codes, meaning buying multiple meals doesn't guarantee you'll receive them in any particular order. Getting the rewards requires an Embark ID.
Digital customers receive their code through a separate Subway email, while in-store customers need to scan the QR code on their receipt and provide an email address. The code can then be redeemed through Embark's website under Settings > Redeem Code, after which the items can take up to 24 hours to appear in-game. Codes are valid until Monday, November 10, giving Raiders a little extra time after the October 26 promotion ends to claim their loot.
Speaking about the unlikely crossover, Embark Studios' Marketing Director Ashley St. Germain says that "teaming up with Subway felt like a natural fit" and it "gives our community something special to take into the fight as we head into Frozen Trail, our biggest update yet."
