While the scariest time of the year has sadly come and gone, this new sale drops the beloved Silent Hill 2 remake to its lowest price ever.

Silent Hill 2 Remake may not be entirely faithful to Konami’s original horror game, but it’s certainly still scary. Those bizarre, oozing monsters. The relentless fog. That feeling that the town itself is somehow alive, sentient, and using James’ own soul to torture him. One of the most frightening games of the year, if you’ve resisted the remake of Silent Hill 2 so far, it’s suddenly cheaper than ever.

As one of the best horror games available on PC, SH2 remake is a frightfully good time for newcomers and fans alike. More action-packed than the 2001 original, Silent Hill 2’s gripping narrative and sensationally scary vibes make it one of the best PC games in the genre.

Silent Hill 2 nails the atmosphere of a psychological horror – it’s frightening as possible but keeps a lot of its deeper meanings hidden in the fog.
