Green energy information event coming soon to this Kildare library
'Solas and Savings' is aimed at anyone who is considering installing solar panels or looking for other sustainable energy options
by Ciarán Mather · Leinster LeaderYou may not think it given the typical state of Irish weather, but solar panels can actually work perfectly fine even when it is not particularly sunny.
In fact, in Ireland, 75 per cent of the energy generated from a solar photovoltaic system will take place between May and September — although we have a moderate climate, our Summers are generally quite decent.
Given this information, it can seem more appealing to the average person to look into the possibility of installing solar panels in their home.
And if you are such a person, who also happens to be based in County Kildare, then you are in luck, as a green energy information event is coming soon to one Kildare library.

"This is a pop-in event, so no booking is required," KCC added.
