The KWWSPCA held its Annual Wag and Bone Dog Show recently in the parade ring of Punchestown Racecourse and it was a great success.

A large number of dogs and their owners attended and everyone seemed to enjoy the afternoon. A lot of past KWWSPCA rescue dogs came back to see us, and our volunteers were delighted to see them. Many thanks to Punchestown Racecourse for allowing the event to take place and to Mongey Communications for their sound equipment. There were so many fantastic dogs at the show and here are just a few.

Check out the Best in Show and Best Fancy Dress Dog and Owner — ‘Driving Miss Bunty’ — Bunty is a past KWWSPCA rescue dog. The Three KWWSPCA puppies Don, Rory and Jimi, were also winners. The Best Senior Citizen with their Dog was also honoured.

For the three puppies, Don, Rory and Jimi, it was their first outing to such a busy place and they all behaved so very well, enjoying all the attention and being so much admired. They are all available for adoption and their details can be found on the KWWSPCA website, www.kwwspca.ie under ‘Adopt a Dog’.
