No ice cream, coffee or tea for visitors to Kildare public park
'A mobile unit should open to be used by families'
by Paul O'Meara · Leinster LeaderThere's not a cup of coffee, tea nor an ice cream to be had a public park on the outskirts of Naas.
Kerdiffstown Park, which was transformed from a dump site to an amenity at a cost of millions of euro to the taxpayer, is a little tight on the availability of beverages, according to Cllr Fintan Brett.
He wants Kildare County Council, which runs the site, to allow a "mobile vendor" to set up shop there.
He said this could be done "on a short-term contract to facilitate the provision of tea/coffee/ice cream for the many families visiting the facility."
