From shock splits to divorces here's 6 of the most talked about celebrity breakups of 2025.

1. Sam Thompson & Zara McDermott

Sam Thompson and Zara McDermott split in January after five years together.

A source close to the couple told MailOnline: "Sam and Zara have ended their relationship. It’s been an incredibly difficult decision for them to part ways, they still care and have a lot of love for each other."

"But after a tough year of working hard at their romance, they have split and will be focusing on their individual careers going forward into 2025."

"There has been no scandal or fallout between them, it’s just the result of a difficult year, where they both had to spend a lot of time focused on their own projects."

2. JoJo Siwa & Kath Ebbs

In April, Kath Ebbs made the shocking confession that she had been "dumped" at the after-party of Celebrity Big Brother by Jojo Siwa.

During her time in the house, JoJo had become close with Love Island’s Chris Hughes, however, at the time, the pair said their friendship was purely platonic.

Later, Chris and JoJo confirmed their relationship had become romantic, and are even talking about walking down the aisle together.

3. Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu & Curtis Pritchard

Ekin-Su and Curtis Pritchard split after just four months together.

The pair had been the subject of showmance rumours after meeting on this year’s season of Love Island: All Stars in January.

In a statement on Instagram in May, Ekin wrote: "I wanted to share that Curtis and I have decided to go our separate ways."

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom announced their split after nearly a decade together in June.

Following rumours that the pair had broken up, a source stated: "Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable. It’s not contentious at the moment. Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life."

Katy has since moved on with former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

5. Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin

Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson split after eight years together in June.

The pair reportedly got "engaged" in March of last year, but sadly never made it down the aisle.

However, multiple sources told PEOPLE in June that the pair had now broken up, calling off their engagement saying: "It feels final this time."

6. Lily Allen and David Harbour
