Sask. sexual assault centres grapple with school presentation ban

Saskatchewan's sexual assault centres are still striving to educate students despite a provincial ban that prevents third party organizations from presenting in schools.

Saskatchewan has entered its second school year of having third-party organizations banned from presenting sexual health material in classrooms, but at least one organization is still trying to educate where it can.

Reagan Conway, executive director of the Saskatoon Sexual Assault and Information Centre (SSAIC), said her organization has been forced to find other ways to deliver sexual abuse prevention material since the ban was put in place in August 2023.
