Tropical Storm Sara to cause flash flooding, mudslides to Central America
by Clyde Hughes · UPINov. 14 (UPI) -- The National Hurricane Center said Friday morning that Tropical Storm Sara is expected to cause life-threatening flooding and mudslides in Central America this week as it moved along the coast of Honduras.
In its 3 a.m. EST update, report, the late-season storm is 65 miles east-southeast of Isla Guanaja, Honduras, with maximum sustained winds of 45 mph and moving west at 9 mph.
