The iconic Coca-Cola Christmas Truck has begun its festive tour across the UK. It all started with a teaser on X then, earlier this month, the bright red truck launched its tour at Ely's Yard in East London.

For many, the sight of the 14-tonne red lorry is decorated with fairy lights and the sound of 'Holiday Are Coming' signal the start of the countdown to December 25. Fans have been eagerly awaiting more news of the next stops on the tour.

Last year, the Coca-Cola Truck visited the Bullring, as well as Morrisons supermarket at Rubery and Market Square in Wolverhampton for the third year running.

This year, Coca-Cola has pledged to give 20p to FairShare, the UK’s biggest charity fighting hunger and food waste. for every person who attends the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour between November 21 and December 22. Coca-Cola aims to donate the equivalent of up to a total of 1 million meals via FareShare this festive season, up to a value of £200,000.

Today (November 29), it has been announced that the truck will be heading to Fort Kinnard in Edinburgh on Saturday, November 30 from 12pm until 8pm. Visitors will be able to enjoy festive games, participate in a lucky dip with the chance to win exclusive Coca-Cola merchandise and experience a festive food truck that will serve up seasonal treats alongside ice-cold Coca-Cola Zero Sugar.

From there, the truck will make its way south to the Metro Centre in Gateshead on Sunday, December 1 from 12pm to 8pm.

FareShare works with the food industry to redistribute surplus food, which might otherwise go to waste, to a network of 8,000 charities and community groups across the UK, including community centres, faith groups, homelessness shelters, refuges and schools.
