Beauty fans make a plea to Boots over its £21 'best ever' lip balm they say they 'wouldn't be without'

Boots has cut the price of a 'make-up must-have' fans say they have 'been buying for years'

Boots has slashed the price of a lip balm that beauty fans love. NARS Afterglow Lip Balm gets rave reviews on the Boots website, with many shoppers saying they 'would not be without it'.

The fragrance and alcohol-free tinted balm is said to be hydrating and conditioning whilst offering a long-lasting, subtle colour. It can be used as a 'sheer wash of colour' or as a moisturising base underneath a lipstick.

Multi-purpose, you can also add it to the high points of the cheeks for a 'natural-looking, shimmer-free highlight'. Normally £26.50, it's currently on offer for £21.20, which is a £5.30 saving.

It gets a 4.5 star rating from more than 350 reviews. One beauty fan said: "Lovely lip balm, so good I purchased it again. This lip balm is one of my go-to make-up must-haves - would not be without it."

Another added: "I pray to God that this colour "Wicked Ways" NEVER gets discontinued because I wear this everyday it is the BEST colour on me." A third agreed: "I have been buying this lip balm for years and replace every time it runs low - I love it."

A fourth posted: "These are the best tinted lip balms ever. I want them in all the shades." And another said: "Lush lip balm and does a really good job at hydrating your lips!"

One, however, was disappointed with the colour: "It’s very sheer and I wouldn’t buy again. It’s a sheer balm with a shine."
