Paddy McGuinness delivers brutal joke about divorce from Christine

by · Birmingham Live

Paddy McGuinness reportedly delivers a brutal joke about his divorce from Christine in his new show. The couple split in 2022 after 11 years of marriage.

But they are still living together in their Cheshire mansion with their three children, all of who are autistic like Christine. The Sun reported he returned with his Nearly There show at Blackburn’s King George’s Hall and said: “It’s all about love and respect tonight.

“Loads of love in this room. I don’t care what race you are, what religion, what your sexuality is. I don’t care how you identify. You can identify as a cat, for all I care. Put your litter tray in the corner, knock yourself out.

“Tonight, folks, we’re all here as human beings with one common goal — and that’s to help me pay for my divorce. I’ve had the pants down, me, the pants down.”

Christine, who has started dating again, revealed the kids don’t know about the split, but she hopes one day they will understand why she ended her 11-year marriage. She said: “I also want to inspire my children. I don’t want my kids to be scared of change.

"I never want them to stay in a place they are unhappy, whether that be a relationship, a friendship or a job. I want them to know that at any point they can start again and they will be fine.”

Christine met her husband at the age of 19; he was 14 years her senior. After experiencing sexual abuse and violence from a young age, she said that she found solace in the presenter.
