AH Real Deal: This 50-inch Roku TV is just $179 Today

Target is starting to roll out its Black Friday deals already, which includes a pretty incredible deal on Roku’s own 50-inch 4K TV. This TV is now priced at $179, saving you $100 off of its regular price. This is good enough for an all-time low too.

This is a 50-inch TV, branded by Roku, so of course it is running on the Roku OS. Which includes support for hundreds of thousands of apps, as well as Cast, AirPlay, and much more. It’s really a great platform for those that use multiple ecosystems in their house – Android and iOS.

It’s a 4K TV with support for HDR. It does include HDR10, but given the price, it shouldn’t be a surprise that it does not have Dolby Atmos nor Dolby Vision. In fact, with this TV, you’d likely want to grab a soundbar to go with it.

There are three HDMI ports included on this TV, however none of them are HDMI 2.1. Again, at this price, it’s not surprising to see HDMI 2.1 being omitted, neither is 4K60 gameplay. However, three HDMI ports is definitely plenty, especially since you won’t need one for a set-top box. You can use it for a soundbar and then a gaming console or two.
