Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition appears in two images; major improvement coming

by · Android Headlines

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition is an upcoming foldable smartphone many people have their eyes on, and it just appeared in two new images. Those images were shared by Evan Blass, one of the best-known tipsters around.

Two new Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition images have surfaced

You can check out the first image below this paragraph. It shows the phone’s camera island on the back. Three cameras will be included there, and the camera island will protrude on the back quite a bit. Unfortunately, neither one of them will be a periscope telephoto camera.

The second image shows us the right-hand side of the device. You can clearly see its power/lock button that will double as a fingerprint scanner, along with the volume up and down buttons above it. This image also clearly shows us that the frame will be flat on the device.

We’ve exclusively revealed the design of this phone last month

Now, we already knew all of this, as we’ve exclusively revealed the design of this smartphone last month. In an image below, you can see the image we did that with, which offers far more design-related information.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition, or whatever its name ends up being, will feature a flat display and a flat back side too, in addition to its frame on the side. Its cover display will have a centered display camera hole.

The model we shared is dark-colored, though we’re still not sure what the color will be officially called. The one that Evan Blass showed us has a different color to its frame, a gold color, it would seem.

The phone will also have a lot less noticeable crease

On top of these images, another detail surfaced. Ice Universe, another very notable tipster, said that this smartphone will have a lot less noticeable crease compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 6. That’s a welcomed improvement, as the competition from China did that a long time ago.

Do note that this smartphone is said to be available in China and Korea only. That, unfortunately, means that the vast majority of you won’t be able to get your hands on one. Well, you can always import it. That’s a shame, as this model will be considerably thinner than the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

The device is rumored to launch soon, later this month, actually. Samsung still didn’t confirm it, though.
