AH Real Deal: The PS5 DualSense controller is cheaper than ever!

by · Android Headlines

Right now Amazon has discounted the PS5 DualSense controller as part of its early Black Friday sale, making the controller cheaper than it’s ever been. The cost of the DualSense will vary by color but in most cases, it’ll set you back $69.99 if it’s full price. However, Amazon has several of the colors that are normally $69.99 on sale for just $54. Other colors are on sale for $59, so across the board most are on sale for a decent amount less than usual.

The only controller colors that aren’t discounted really are the Chroma Teal and Galactic Purple. The DualSense Edge isn’t on sale either, unfortunately. But if you like any of the other colors, now is the time to grab an extra controller. Whether it’s for your collection or you want something for your friends to use, it never hurts to have a backup.

Speaking of backups, having at least a second controller is great. Because then you can always keep one charged up. Then if you have a really long gaming session and the battery dies on one of them, you can just grab the other. Then plug in or dock the one that’s dead and keep playing. This is more nifty than you might think. As the DualSense isn’t known for its exceptional battery life.

Now if you’ve never used a DualSense controller before, it’s not just a regular old controller. It comes with advanced haptics that will rumble and vibrate at various intensities. This can change based on several different factors, such as the type of ground or material your character is walking on. It also has adaptive triggers, which can be harder to pull at certain moments in games. Like when you’re drawing back a bow string.

Naturally, these are wireless but you can also use them while plugged in. They also feature a headphone jack for wired audio if you want it.
