OnePlus Confirms 7,500mAh Battery for the Compact OnePlus 15T

The OnePlus 15T is right around the corner, and OnePlus continues confirming details about the phone. The company just confirmed that the OnePlus 15T’s battery capacity, and charging details.

The OnePlus 15T will have a truly large battery & extremely fast charging

The OnePlus 15T will feature a huge 7,500mAh silicon-carbon battery. That’s plenty of power considering that the phone will include a 6.3-inch display. The battery life should be amazing based on the specs alone.

What about charging? It will support 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, as expected. So, OnePlus didn’t skimp out on charging either, you’ll be able to recharge this huge battery rather fast.

Yesterday, the company confirmed that the phone will offer four IP ratings for outstanding ingress protection. The phone will be IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K certified.

Prior to that, OnePlus showed us that the OnePlus 15T will have thinner bezels than the iPhone 17 Pro. Its bezels will not only be extremely thin, but they’ll also be uniform.

It will have two cameras on the back, including a periscope telephoto unit

A periscope telephoto camera will also be a part of the package, with OnePlus’ LUMO technology. So the company is switching from an ultrawide camera on the back, to a periscope telephoto one, in addition to the main camera, of course.

Both of those cameras on the back will support OIS, and we’re looking at two 50-megapixel cameras here. The OnePlus 15T is shaping up to be a very compelling smartphone, a true compact powerhouse.

We’re not sure when exactly will it launch, but considering all these teasers and confirmations, the launch is right around the corner. It may actually arrive before the end of this month. Unfortunately, however, it’s not expected to get a global launch. It will launch in China, and maybe in India.
