The Samsung Galaxy S25 will ship with more RAM than its predecessor, the Galaxy S24. This is a rumor that we’ve heard before, and it has now been confirmed by a Geekbench listing.

The Galaxy S25 will include more RAM than its predecessor

The device appeared on Geekbench with model number SM-S931N, which is a version for the South Korean market. The most important thing is, it features 12GB of RAM, an upgrade over 8GB of RAM on the Galaxy S24.

When it comes to Geekbench results, the device managed to score 2,481 points in the single-core, and 8,658 points in the multi-core test. Android 15 is also mentioned, as is the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.

Yes, all variants of the Galaxy S25 will be fueled by that chip, globally. One of the best-known and most accurate tipsters in the business both confirmed and reconfirmed it, to put to rest any additional rumors.

The Exynos 2500 won’t be a part of the picture

Europe was rumored to get the Exynos 2500 variant of the phone, but that won’t happen. The Snapdragon 8 Elite will be used on a global scale by Samsung. It could even be a special ‘for Galaxy’ version of the chip, which, in other words, means an overclocked variant.

The Exynos 2500 is said to have a very low yield, which is a huge problem for Samsung. The company will need more time for that chip to be viable, which is probably the main reason why Samsung opted to go with the Snapdragon 8 Elite everywhere.

The Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra are coming as part of this family, and we’ve exclusively confirmed the designs of all three of those smartphones.

The Galaxy S25 will be the smallest and cheapest member of the Galaxy S25 family, as expected. It will have a flat display, along with a flat backplate, and a flat frame all around the phone.
