Hyderabad: Within a month of its launch, the MeeSeva Doorstep Delivery Service has received 3,885 calls from citizens, the Department of Information Technology, Electronics and Communications (ITE&C) stated in a release on Friday, October 23.

The service allows people to skip queues at MeeSeva or Aadhaar centres and get income, caste, residence, birth, and death certificates, as well as Aadhaar enrolment and updates, right at their doorstep.

Citizens simply need to dial toll-free number 1100 or raise a request on the MeeSeva citizen portal, and a MeeSeva executive will visit their home to complete the service.

The initiative is part of the Government’s Telangana Rising vision of citizen-centric, transparent and accessible governance.

Doorstep delivery is currently available only in CURE areas. Applicable service charges will be levied.
